The challenge

Copilot was bought together with workshops for a wide range of employees. The goals: save the team’s time across Microsoft 365, build usage scenarios for legal work and grow AI competence in the firm.

To increase the efficiency of working in Microsoft 365, the firm decided to purchase Copilot together with workshops for a wide range of employees, aimed at making the most of the tool’s capabilities in legal and administrative work, in line with the firm’s procedures.

What goals did we set?

Increase productivity and save time for the law firm team by using Copilot more effectively in applications such as Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.
Develop specific usage scenarios ready for implementation in the organisation, and tailor Copilot to the specifics of legal work.
Develop the competence of the team in using AI in law firm work.

Our approach

Four workshop blocks: prompt-building rules, data security, exercises on real law-firm scenarios and a comparison with competing AI tools.

Building prompts
We presented practical tips and rules for building prompts, including in the context of the differences between Polish and English.
Data security
We discussed data security when working with Copilot, including the importance of using company accounts, permissions and security policies.
Exercises
We conducted exercises based on real scenarios from the life of a law firm.
Comparison with competing solutions
We presented references to competing AI solutions and showed how Copilot stands out from the market.

Solution concept

Customised onboarding workshops built around problems the firm’s employees reported themselves, from finding information in correspondence to limiting Copilot’s “hallucinations”. Two groups kept the sessions interactive.

We designed and ran customised onboarding workshops tailored to the law firm’s expectations. The workshops were designed to address specific challenges with Copilot reported by Sobota Jachira employees, such as:

making it easier to find relevant information in correspondence,
comparing documents and preparing summaries,
Copilot errors when editing documents,
the need to limit Copilot’s so-called “hallucinations” when generating content.

The training sessions were held in two groups, which allowed for an interactive approach and full customisation for participants from different departments.

Results

Thanks to the workshops, the Sobota Jachira law firm achieved its key goals:

The workshop prepared by Onex Group showed us how to use the Microsoft 365 Copilot tool more effectively in the daily work of various teams. The training largely responded to the needs reported by our employees, showing practical usage scenarios that we can immediately implement in the law firm.
